About Us :

Breast Friends: voluntary peer support group

Our breastfeeding peer support workers are trained and experienced, they provide drop-in sessions for breastfeeding mums and pregnant ladies who may be thinking about breastfeeding their new born.

We offer help, support and up to date information in and around Scarborough, Eastfield, Filey and Ayton. Our sessions are held in children's centres and baby clinics. We also run a monthly breastfeeding antenatal workshop to help give expectant mums the information to help them make decisions about their feeding preferences.

Come along and meet us, where you will have the opportunity to chat to a peer support worker on a one to one basis and socialise with other mothers over a coffee. We also have use of sensory equipment in selected sessions which is an amazing experience for babies of all ages.

All drop-in sessions are free of charge.
Toddlers and fathers also welcome.
